The Mount Rogers Primary School P&C is powered by parents, carers and community members who want to be part of something positive for our kids and our school. There’s no one way to get involved, and no minimum commitment. Whether you’ve got five minutes or a few hours, every contribution makes a difference.

Come Along to a Meeting

We meet twice per term (usually Weeks 3 and 8), and everyone is welcome. You don’t need to speak, volunteer, or commit to anything—many people come along just to listen, learn what’s happening in the school, and get a better sense of the community. It’s a great way to stay informed about school initiatives, share ideas or feedback, and be part of conversations that shape our school.

Our events and initiatives only happen because of volunteers. You might like to:

• Help at a BBQ, disco or fundraising event

• Lend a hand at the Mother’s Day or Father’s Day stalls

• Support the second-hand uniform shop

• Assist with setting up or packing down events

Even an hour here and there makes a real impact.

Everyone brings something different to the table.

You might be able to help with:

• Organisation or event planning

• Gardening or working bees

• Marketing, design or social media

• Admin or behind-the-scenes support.

Big or small, every contribution makes a difference. Whether you’ve got a specific skill to share or simply a willingness to lend a hand, there’s a place for you here.

We regularly seek donations to support events like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, trivia nights, raffles and auctions. Donations might include new gift items, gift vouchers or experiences, and goods or services for prizes.

Got empty cans and bottles around? You can donate to the P&Cs ReCollect account by booking a pickup through our referral link. We’re working on an option for you to donate to our account at your local CDS return point, so watch this space. Read more about our partnership with ReCollect here.
